Reviews
One of the best libraries in all the area of greater Madrid. Undoubtedly this place has become a fantastic spot for students but also for passionate readers and more
Nice library with a great selection of books and DVD's. Lots of places to sit but does get busy around exam time.
Perfect place to book books!
Excellent job they do to collect and deliver books
borrowed, good advice to pick up.
Large library, both for adults and children with separate areas.
Area for reading the daily press and computers.
My reference Library with a large editorial collection. The staff provides outstanding care.
I found this exhibition.
A large library, many books, spacious, clean. The librarian is very friendly. I hope they open a children's library by the end of the week. I arrived on a Wednesday at 10-11am but the children's library was still closed. A little sad 😔 …
It is a library that has been around for many years and you can tell that it is old... The furniture, especially the chairs (especially if you are tall) are very uncomfortable, but in terms of air conditioning, tables, internet, lighting and so on, it is Everything is correct, except for one thing that should be looked at urgently and that is none other than the issue of noise, but not conversations, but the noise of mice and keyboards. Nowadays there are silent mice and keyboards suitable for a library, and most make use of them, but there is always the typical moron who starts banging on the keyboard or clicking with a non-silent mouse and it is really frustrating. Please, put up signs or go up from time to time to keep an eye, the noise that I mention is much more audible and annoying than whispering conversations and should be prohibited because it is impossible to concentrate with that constant hammering of selfish people who only think about themselves themselves (and there is everything in this group, from the typical older person who doesn't realize it, to the typical "autistic" girl who writes by punching the keyboard)
If it weren't for this reason, the rating would be 4 stars almost 5, but this problem is a BIG PROBLEM and one day it would have to be solved...
To finish, I would like to say that noise, which in the end is the most important thing in a library, is acceptable considering it is a fairly quiet place, except for what I mentioned and that, sometimes, they also talk very loudly at reception, but this is more bearable than mice/keyboards than if you have one nearby and you can't move or there are one of these everywhere, forget about studying or whatever you came here to do...
To those who complain that they are not open on weekends, I will wait for you when you enter the world of work, library workers also have families, the only thing you want from weekends is flirting on social networks, I tell you this with security due to the experience I have as a worker for more than 10 years in libraries. Another important point, you complain that it is full, of course you go 2, you put sheets of paper with notes in 6 study stations for the colleagues, you go down to make the cigarette and the coffee and it takes 1 hour or to eat at midday 2 or 3 hours and you remove For those who really need it, they will charge you 3 or 5 euros each time you leave and come back in to study.
I'm sure you would think about it and you would see who really needs to study
It's a shame of place to give you wifi you need to first write a document when you fill it out everything is blocked for 10 minutes I prefer to go to a cafeteria a calamity in any library in Madrid you give your ID and they give you a password they try to make things easier not to make you waste time I just wanted wifi on my mobile to send a very heavy document not to use obsolete PCs in short a place not to return
Quite a large library, with a wide variety of books, but during exam time it is full and the computers often have problems. There are art exhibitions. You can take your computer or electronic devices and connect to their WiFi. Shameful that the second largest city in the Community of Madrid closes its libraries on summer weekends.
